What Do You Know to be True?
A killer question for confronting your limiting beliefs.

When I’m overwhelmed, I feel my most limited. Sometimes, even the simplest things, like preparing a meal, feel impossible to accomplish. Have you ever felt this way?
In session, my counselor told me that one of the best ways to combat these beliefs was to disrupt the thought pattern with truth. Since that session, my husband asks me “What do you know to be true?” whenever I’m feeling exceptionally overwhelmed.
To be truthful, answering his question isn’t easy. It’s much easier to give in to the lies in our minds that tell us we can’t or that we’re not enough. What difference would it make if we approached our limits with curiosity instead of judgment? Maybe it would be easier to discern truths like:
I am enough.
I am loved.
I can do this.
I am good.
What do you know to be true?
